Updating a family camp can be a tricky thing. The memories and nostalgia for a Summer season property holds more sentiment than can sometimes be seen from the surface.
Taking this 1960's seasonal property, and updating it to be a full-year round home for a growing family was a labor of love from start to finish.
Working with strict environment and time regulations, this new home utilized the existing footprint of the camp and expanded vertically to add both second floor and walk-out basement.
The camp is affectionately known as Loonhaven, because of the ample presence of the adored bird around the lake.
